Founded in 2016, Saint Tryphon Farm and Vineyards rests on an 1890s homestead a few miles north of Boerne, and is managed by owner, winemaker and sommelier Silouan Bradford. The name Saint Tryphon (pronounced tree-fon) comes from the patron saint of grape-growers, gardeners, hunters and horses. This boutique winery uses 100% Texas-grown grapes, wild yeast for fermentation and minimal intervention in the wine-making process to guarantee its wines are as expressive and pure as possible. Try the bold Tempranillo or the fruit-forward Mourvèdre. Or opt for a Pét-Nat style sparkling wine that's bottle-fermented.
