Another way to support elephant conservation is with a visit to Elephant Story here on High Street in Comfort. What was once an old saloon is now a unique boutique that features clothing, jewelry, home goods, candles and gifts. But more than that, Elephant Story is a not-for-profit organization aimed at promoting elephant conservation in Asian elephant countries. An impressive collection of fair trade goods are offered to fund programs for families and their 300 elephants in northeast Thailand.
