This year, the town of Boerne has planned four weekends of Christmas fun as part of A Dickens Celebration. During Dickens on Main, Boerne’s historic Hill Country Mile transforms into a vintage wonderland with ice carving shows, street entertainers and holiday vendors. On Saturday, Dec. 4, the annual Weihnachts Parade will march down historic Main Street. A community tradition for 34 years, this nighttime Christmas parade will dazzle and delight with nearly 100 lighted floats. For a perfect holiday date night, attend Toast of Olde Town, where you can snuggle up with a classic holiday movie in the park, do a little late-night shopping, and partake in wassail.
The Old West Christmas Light Fest at Enchanted Springs Ranch is an outdoor festival filled with dazzling lights, food and drinks, live music and entertainment – everything you love about Christmas in one place! Open from Thanksgiving Day through Christmas Eve, this holiday showcase is set in an Old West town once used as a backdrop for Hollywood movies. Step back in time as you stroll through the charming Old West town shining with thousands of twinkling lights synchronized to holiday tunes. This is the eighth year for the Christmas on The Ranch light display, which begins Thanksgiving weekend and runs through Christmas Eve. It's bigger than ever before featuring 4.5 million (yep, MILLION) dazzling lights and dozens of movable displays.
