Here in Comfort, Singing Water Vineyard not only offers award-winning wines and delicious food, but every weekend there's live music to enjoy amongst the majestic oaks and beautiful vistas. On Saturday and Sunday afternoons, the winery showcases local singer-songwriters and acoustic performers who take the stage for free shows. Singing Water also hosts ticketed events, like the Dirty River Jazz Band coming up on Aug. 13, as part of the Friday Night Concert Series.
Just a quick walk from Hotel Giles is the Comfort Backyard. Located behind Newsom Vineyards, this lively venue is the site of weekly fun including live music and food trucks. Most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays you'll hear great local musical acts performing from 4-7 p.m. While you're there, stop in the winery's tasting room for extraordinary wines made by some of the area's best winemakers.
Also in the same block as our historic inn is the Just Chillin' Wine Bar, a cozy place to grab a drink and unwind, meet up with friends, or make new ones. Owners Kathy and Wade will make you feel at home with a favorite wine or beer paired with delicious, fresh-prepared food. Fridays and Saturdays from about 7-10 p.m. is when you'll catch awesome live music on the Just Chillin' stage.
If your vibe is a great hometown bar where the drinks are cold and the people are friendly, then look no farther than the Cocky Rooster. On weekends, live music usually kicks off at 8 p.m. until the bar closes at midnight. The Rooster Food Trailer serves up tasty appetizers and sandwiches. For motorcycle and car enthusiasts, the Cocky Rooster hosts Bike Dayz and Hot Rodz on the second and third Saturdays (respectively) of each month from May through October, with special live bands that will get things rockin'!
